Our artist, Lori DeLeonardis-Aman, started drawing the bear while she was on a trip to the Adirondack Mountains in New York state. Her first idea was to draw a storybook bear to be publish for children’s books. Before she could get anything published people started asking her to put children's names on the art to hang in their room.

So Lori and her husband, Bill, started selling Zachary Bear pictures at traveling art shows. She kept drawing new designs to cover hobbies and occupations as well as events celebrated in everyday family life. There are now over 350 different titles with character variations to create over 750 available designs.

As the company grew to print Lori’s artwork we offered to make prints for other artists. With the ability to print Zachary Bear on other products we gained the ability to print art and photos on products for other people. We now make prints and personalized gifts from all of our Zachary Bear pictures or artwork created by you or your kids and even from old photos without needing the negatives. You can see why we no longer travel to art shows because there is just too many items to travel with. You can find us at our retail location in Webster, New York or on the internet.
